When the iconic Nitty Gritty Dirt Band played for 1,200 people at Paradise Hill's Summer Bash, a young musician from North Battleford was the opening act. It was a dream come true for Bruin. Not only did he open for his all time favourite band, they called him to the stage to perform during their encore. 

"I'm still high," says Bruin. "It's going to be a long time before I ever come down off of it. I don't know if I ever will."
